Each and every design is custom created and professionally installed to detailed specifications, adhering to the most recent child safety standards and current technology.

Lisa Salvatore’s problem-solving perseverance is legendary. She just loves a challenge.
Lisa is the owner of The Finishing Room and an accomplished seamstress and designer. Hard work, engineering, and artistry are in Lisa’s DNA. A computer science degree from Boston College led her to KPMG, where as a management consultant, she provided the highest standard of client service. Growing up with six talented siblings, Lisa found a creative outlet early on in sewing. Her natural skill set, attention to detail and sincere appreciation for the craft were undeniable. Before long, she was creating beautifully constructed suits and bridal gowns. It wasn’t until Lisa began to dabble in window treatments and interior designers discovered the quality of her craftsmanship that a new career was born – and continues today.
Lisa’s deep knowledge of textiles, her garment construction skills, and her ability to find creative solutions for each job, have earned her a can-do reputation. Lisa believes everyone deserves a home that’s both comfortable, functional and stylish – and she takes great pride in delivering just that.
In her free time Lisa enjoys quilting, binge-worthy television shows, dinner dates with her husband, antiquing, and spending time with her three daughters.
